Great price - Lousy GE designed, "GuaranteedToFail®" original part
This is a replacement agitator of, apparently, the same design as the fatally flawed original. All owners of GE/Hotpoint washers of this series have to replace the agitator. The vanes crack or break off entirely, in the first 3 years. I don't expect it to last any longer than the original (2 years), but a 3-year warranty is offered with it for about 10 bucks, which will pay for my next part as well. This part is made by GE/Hotpoint and is the same one they sell on the GE Appliance Parts website. The only difference is that you get it for $20 less (plus free shipping!). I definitely recommend the warranty because this part WILL fail. And by the way, LunaParts is awesome.
