Sigma 24-60mm f/2.8 EX DG for Canon is the BEST

Pros: Constant 2.8, Color rendition, Clarity, Contrast, Weight, Internal Focus, Matte Finish, Zoom Lock, 77mm Filter Size
Cons: 77mm Filter Size, Zoom Creep, Zooming Ring is reversed.
I've only had this lens for a few days. It is amazing. There is a lot of reviews on Sigma lenses which have the same common problem. Focus issue. I have not had this problem and that is the biggest hesitation I had with purchasing this lens. I'm just glad that I waited three weeks and got it for $150. I enjoy the weight, the clarity, and color rendition. I am getting use to the way the you have to zoom with this lens, reverse than what I am use to. This lens has a Zoom lock but only engages in the wide open (24mm) setting.
I was very worried that another Sigma product would have the focus issue that is plastered all over the net. I am fortunate. a Few pictures so far and I havent noticed it. Which is great becasue even on a tiny LCD I noticed it when using the Sigma 28-70mm F/2.8-4 DG. WOW I hate that lens. Although I few emails including pictures back and forth to Sigma that said I can send it to them.
I choose to buy this lens instead (Sigma 24-60mm F/2.8 EX DG).
First of all the Finish is brilliant. The feel of this lens is nice weight. It has a zoom lock, havent experienced this before so I have no comment other than it only works at the wide end.
Zooming manually felt responsive and easy, not slippery. The 2.8 has an incrediable look to it. Check out the net for images taken with this such as... PBase or Flickr. http://www.pbase.com/cameras/sigma/24-60_28_ex_dg
I expect this to be my everyday walk around lens now.
I think this has just made my permanent lens.

Great investment. Wifi. Size. Weight speed are all positives. No iTunes :(
I have been very pleased with the Samsung Galaxy Tab (This review is based on the original 7in version. WiFi+3G for Verizon 16gb)
I always get asked what is that when Im at work. I like the size and weight of this 7in. It connects to.WiFi with ease. It has GPS that I can use without being connected to Data plan. The Verizon version of this Tap has a faster processor but I had.nothing to compare it.to. Youtube HD videos play great. The small speakers on this Tab sound great. It has a headphones jack that I connect to my computer speakers and sound great.
The screen is bright , very responsive, and scratch resistant due to the Gorrila glass. It even comes with Samsung Swype you should.read up on this. I.ve had no issues with this. Battery last a long time without needing to charge. I would have liked for.this Tab to be able to charge while on and connected to a USB computer slot but I have found a longer extensition for the AC adapter. Very happy
