Breaks half of the hairs

For a 150,00 device and the pain you have to go through I had imagined it would pull all or most hairs from the root but not really, maybe half of the hairs are pulled, the rest break and you can feel them. You do look "hairless" after a up to a week later, but never stops feeling prickly.
It's quite disappointing. I have yet to do it on my bikini area as I don't want to go through the pain and then have prickly skin there too.
