1 of 1 found this helpful This instrument offers a large set of sampled voices that successfully provide the sound of a variety of accordions, especially if you hear the Roland with other electronic instruments. Blending with acoustic accordions is not so easy. However, the ability to adjust tuning may be very helpful.
The wide range of other sampled sounds offers great versatility, though I know I will spend many hours with the instrument before I can personally begin to take advantage of what can be creatively done.
Right from the start, however, the ability to easily shift from a straight, classic accordion sound to a French or Italian musette, to name a few, presents pleasing opportunities.
The bellows sensitivity is adjustable, so if you prefer a very tight bellows feel, or a looser high-air-flow feel, you can have your pick.
