A very good 3rd party budget lens that can do a very reasonable job.
Had tried out this lens with a Canon 6D and a Canon 7D MII for about a month and am very happy with it for the price. All the lens functions (e.g., OS, AF) work well with both cameras. The images were all very sharp when used as a prime lens. However, when using it as a close-up macro, some images were out of focus or fuzz. Don't know if it was the OS or the AF issue. But, for less than $700, this lens works really well!

BRAND NEW SIGMA 10-20MM F/3.5 EX DC HSM LENS FOR CANON MOUNT
    Jul 21, 2016
Lightweight, well constructed but results are not as good as the Canon 16-35mm f4L
Brought this lens for my Canon 7D MII. I also have a Canon 16-35mm f4L IS for my Canon 6D. The Sigma 10-20mm f3.5 works well on the 7D. It is lightweight and well constructed. However, the image quality is not comparable to the Canon 16-35mm f4L. Comparing two identical pictures, taken by the 6D with the Canon lens at 16mm, f8 and by the 7D with the Sigma at 10mm, f8; the Sigma picture is definitely more soft on the edges and has more distortion at the conners. However, I am still very happy with the Sigma lens because (1) it is light weight and (2) it is half as expensive as the Canon lens for the similar function (Canon 16-35mm f4L IS ~ 1K; Sigma 10-20mm f3.5 ~ 0.5K).

Good camera. The seller was not prefect, but they sold it as the best price
Use this one mostly with a Sigma 150-600mm f5-6.3C lens for birds and wildlife. They work well together. For a little over $2000 investment (7D Mark II: 1199; Sigma Lens: 1069), I was able to get awesome results that I could not get with the Canon 6D body + Canon 28-300mm f3.5-5.6L lens. Considering the investment cost and the portability, I can't think about any better combination than this camera body and the Sigma C lens. The only issue is that the Sigma C lens is not weather proof. So, you need to be careful when you go out in a rainy day.
