Having the T harness certainly saves a lot of time. We had some difficulty programming the unit however persevered and eventually got it. Spent a lot of time looking for the park light connector in the driver kick panel until we realized the instructions are written for a vehicle without daytime running lights which are mandatory in Canada so the connection wasn't there. Lesson learned for future installations. Took about three hours overall to install. Still getting used to some of the program options - for instance we set it up so if you use the remote to start the car and then unlock the door the moment you open it the car will shut off. Will reprogram to eliminate this. I really like using the factory key fob to start the vehicle without having to use another remote device. Have not really had a chance to see what the range is yet. Overall satisfied so far.
