I am not a pro but there are a hundred adjetives I could use, all of them positive. Price, ease of use, clarity, durability it goes on and on. Yes it is that good. Makes a photo bonehead like me look like I have a shot in the arena.

Worth It-U Only Live Twice
1 of 1 found this helpful The Shure SE315 are very good ear buds by any standard and I would consider them to be high end. I have owned SE215's for a couple of years and have a couple of pairs so when I wanted to get a new pair I decided to step up. For starters the bass response is where you see the difference compared to most other ear buds and the 215's (to be clear I think the 215's are great). However it comes at a price, the balance of the mid-range and high end are slightly off. It sounds like there is a light blanket on the overall field of depth in those ranges especially around 2k. With that being said the issue is resolved easily. All new generation iPod Classics have a native output EQ. With a little adjustment the headphones meet expectations and all becomes good. - Overall - with a tweak you get excellent bass, clarity, depth of field and wearing comfort. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because I am still up in the air on which set I want to take into the after life, the 315's or the 215's. Who knows maybe there is a set of 500's or Dr.Dre's in the future.
