Fabulous book
I have read countless aviation books and this one is one of the very best. The experiances of this pilot are sometimes almost beyond belief. From being a navy fighter pilot flying from an aircraft carrier to flying captured enemy aircraft to testing early jet planes to interviewing Herman Goering, all thrilling stuff. Each chapter of this book could be a book on its own.Because this man had such an amazing career by necessity he had to quickly go over many events or the book would have been two thousnd pages long.One last thing the book is full of great photos, most of which I had never seen before.
