Helped Glaucoma
3 of 3 found this helpful My grandmother has a rare form of Glaucoma that is very difficult to treat. It usually occurs in Scandinavia (our heritage). Ophthalmologists have been treating her eyes for almost 10 years on a weekly basis. Her usual treatment involves needles injected directly into her eye, three different types of drops multiple times per day and a diuretic to try and stop fluid build up. All of these combined barely make a difference to her quality of life. Her eyes ache terribly from the pressure caused by the Glaucoma.
Trying this supplement was a last resort. She was so ill from the pain in her eyes that she could barely eat. She was rushed to the hospital and then sent directly to the ophthalmologist with a Glaucoma pressure reading of 55. This is extremely high. She was given pain killers and sent home as there was not much they could do for her other than her usual treatment regime.
Desperately we tried this supplement. In two days her pressure score went from 55 down to 6. Her ophthalmologist was astounded. The pressure never spontaneously resolves itself, not that quickly nor dramatically.
Her eyes are remaining stable which has not happened in years. Our family all sincerely believe this supplement helped her. It is not a miracle cure her Glaucoma isn't curable but since using this supplement her quality of vision has improved and the pressure and associated pain has subsided.
The high antioxidant properties associated with this product may have helped.
