Shiny is better!
We prefer the shiny covers over the standard brushed aluminum vents.

Replacement for containers that Foodsaver (inexplicably) no longer provides
I'm glad I can find replacements for these containers that (for some reason) Foodsaver no longer provides, since the containers all eventually wear out or develop cracks. I would be happy to be able to buy the container without the lid, since the containers break, while the tops seem to last forever. So I accumulate more tops than I need. As an editorial aside, the containers that Foodsaver *does* sell are worthless, and I have no idea why they stopped selling containers that DO work!
