Solved my problem
I looked pretty crappy compared to the one it replaced. BUT, this one works, so who cares, it's hidden.

In the end, it works well
Look, it only costs about 10 bucks, so it is what it is. First off, your lens might mount rotated 90° off to the right. but I got around that. It does what it is supposed to and function is what I'm after. I got it.

A real surprise.
1 of 1 found this helpful This thing not only works but it keeps damn good time. I bought it mostly as a prop for my photography. But as it turns out this thing works very well. For ten bucks it can't be beat.
