Great for LEDs and Programmable but you need to be able understand how works from Instructions
Attractive design very positive depress click on or off so better than rotary types that turn to switch on and have to be turned round fully to illuminate to max. So turns on to dimming level last set.
The actual dimmer V-Pro modules are preset to dim on trailing edge which is ideal for most dimmable LEDs and will dim most up or down without flicker. Can be programmed to Leading edge mode or a third mode that I found often clears flicker with some dimmable LED bulbs when used in TE Mode. Min and Max Dim levels can be self programmed.
Re the brassed metal plate --- it has to be earthed so if you have any older lighting circuits without earth wire then this type with metal plate cannot be used.
When set-up they work great and I have had about 12 V-Pro modules in use for over a year without fail or problem when used correctly.
There are a few aspects which could be considered downsides for some:-
1) To maximise LED life there is a slow start --- pressing 'on' the lights do not light for a second or so ---- quickly get used to this but Guests / children some times repeatedly press the button and this is the action that puts the module in programming mode and the lights will flash on /off a number of times further turning of dimmer knob can change set programmed levels inadvertently.
2) Programming is not fully straight forward and can be tedious to set up especially if only 1 LED bulb and low load (actions rely on seeing number of flashes light makes in relation to times on/off pressed when in program mode) --- VPro suggest if the case use a tungsten or Halogen bulb in circuit to set-up,
Keep instruction/program sheet safe for future reference.
In summary a great dimmer providing you understand and can handle 1 & 2 above.

Excellent Ink but too expensive for quantity of inks supplied
For an ink tank cartridge without print head matrix the Epson Inks are a bit pricey though an excellent ink quality. Guess have to hope in longer term that Epson reduce their prices on this range of inks.

Good product well made re 'Plug Through' but light level too low for my need.
Product good well made and value for price paid so gets 4 stars for that. Drops a Star for low light output level. Guess for many in a baby / child's bedroom the yellow ambient light level will be okay to give a pleasing warm glow. Unfortunately the Lux light output level or power level of LED is not given in sales data all it says is "low power consumption" so hard to judge prior to purchase what light output likely to be so on buying I took a chance. The non 'Plug Through' I was hoping to replace it with was an old one with a E12 7W bulb --- used to light a landing at top of stairs at night so children / guests etc could see where light switch was and get to it without being in dark--- The LED one has no where near the same light output so unable to use it there. I have found other places in house where can use the LED ones.
