Works as advertised!
I have a porch that is always shaded. I was worried this would not pick up the face, however, the resolution is so good that most times it does and the rest of the time it can see the face prior to entering the porch, while still lit by the sun. Also after figuring out how to set the alert zone, I only get alerts when someone has entered my property. No complaints.

Useless even as a toy.
If you are looking for a toy. Nope this wouldn't even be good for that. This is highly flexible rubber. Super small squares that are super shallow. If you did use this for ice (not sure if the rubber is toxic or not) you will need to place it on a tray. Otherwise it will collapse and the water will spill. You cannot stack them. So glad I only bought 1. Their pictures are quite misleading.
