Depends on it's use.
This is a good, inexpensive cleaner for the money. I've owned 3 of them so far. They last about a year before the enviroment of water and daily use causes rust to form on the inside and fail. If they are only used once a week for jewelry it will last much longer if carefully dried. I use them for oral products daily or I would have probably gven it a 4 or 5 star rating.
