Great Budget Gaming Monitor
I was in the market for a 27-inch monitor, and this was one of the best options I could find out there for a high refresh rate, 1440p monitor. The monitor has a sturdy stand and features great height adjustment. It has paired excellently with my Lenovo legion 7 gaming laptop, and I have enjoyed using it for my online college textbooks and Virtual Machine labs. I haven't had time to game much, but I have had no issues with Freesync premium using my G-Sync laptop, so that is fantastic. Unfortunately, a few days after using the monitor, a small spot of dead pixels appeared near the top of the screen. This spot is only visible with white backgrounds, so it isn't anything major. I left a photo in this review (don't mind the reproduction of the white background because I have a blue light filter on), but it is hard to make it out unless you zoom in. Since this product is $200, I can't complain too much about that unless any further issues arise. Another thing I am having trouble with is the advertised 10-bit color. I have tried using HDR, installing drivers, and switching specific settings to enable the change, but I have been unsuccessful. (The monitor isn't true 10-bit color anyway, so it doesn't bother me). Otherwise, this product is phenomenal for this price range. The color reproduction isn't going to be great for something like photo editing, but it is a gaming monitor after all. The resolution is slightly less dense than my laptop but is certainly better than 1080p at 27 inches. Even with those small issues, I am very impressed with this monitor.
