Does what it says but inconsistently
The warmth is very pleasant indeed, however I find it inconsistent, even on the same heat setting it goes on and off.. Which is not a big deal as it's still usable. The build quality is decent for the price.

Good build quality but the Thunderbolt plug tends to dropout
It's hard to decide between good quality or not -- the issue here is that although the build is adequate, with the two laptops I tried, there were issues with signal dropout: you have to be very careful to not move the cable at all. Out of 3 adapters I tried, two were clearly inferior in this regard, so the quality control differs. Still in the end, all were usable albeit with some limitations (had to tape down the cables tightly and exercise extreme caution).
