Hard to install, but price/performance ratio hard to beat
My only complaint about the Hyper 212 series of CPU heatsinks is that they can be a bit of a pain to install. I'm not sure who to blame this on, either CPU manufactures like AMD and Intel or if Cooler Master could have made a better system. However, I bought this cooler for $20 and it is absolutely amazing for the price point. The fan it comes with is very nice and dead quiet at full speed.

Cheap, old server CPU with great temps
This CPU is from the same era as the i7 980X and takes advantage of the newer manufacturing process that made the i7 980X possible. This CPU has good performance for its age and it has relatively low temps under load.

Great value
These old Xeon CPUs can be had for crazy low prices and offer massively good performance in comparison. Grab two and dual socket motherboard and you'll have a system which rivals brand new i7s for multi-threaded applications for a significantly lower price-point.
