Dissapointed.
Limbsaver products are great products in and of themselves. I have several for my high powered rifles and shotguns used with high power loads. However, as a replacement for my Benelli Super Black Eagle 2 recoil pad this is a total failure. The recoil pad for these shotguns are a "snap in" type of recoil pad/butt stock and requires a exact fit and design to work. The product I purchased is neither. This "REPLACEMENT PAD" in order to work would require a total make over of the shotgun stock and unless you are skilled in this type of work would require a gunsmith. There was NO INSTRUCTIONS that came with this product, only a email address that referred you to a template for your particular gun but still no instructions, just a picture. The base supplied for holding the Limbsaver Recoil Pad in place does not function with the design of the Benelli. Don't get me wrong, the Limbsaver Recoil Pad is a great pad but if you can attach it to your shotgun ii is of no value. I was very disappointed with this excellent recoil pad being advertised as " A REPLACE PAD" for the original Benelli factory pad, it isn't so don't waste your money like I did and end up throwing this un-functional design as a replacement in the garbage, it is not. Your will spend more time and money trying to make this work than any savings you might get, just spend the extra money up front and buy a "factory part": from Benelli and you will be a lot less frustrated from trying to put a square peg in a round hole. VERY DISSAPOINTE!!!!
