As good as the brand name e-series brushhead
1 of 1 found this helpful I hate paying through the nose for Sonicare replacement brushheads with the actual brand-name on them. Some time ago, in looking for compact-style Sonicare brushheads, I bought a 2-pack of their e-series compact brushheads and liked them, at the price of two for $13.48. However, when I went back to find a similar deal, I found these "compatible" brushheads, with a different brand on them from Sonicare. Apart from the name stamped on the shaft of the brush, I cannot for the life of me tell a bit of different from the name brand, and I was right pleased to be able to get SIX of them for $14.75. For a mere $1.27 more than I paid last time, I got six excellent-quality brushheads instead of just two. I'm very happy!

Great tasting milk when mixed up and chilled
I like having nonfat dry milk on hand. Some brands, such as Carnation or the Safeway house brand are "instant" and taste terrible when reconstituted as fluid milk. I only use those to make pancakes, waffles, drop biscuits, etc. The nice thing about the Provident Pantry/Emergency Essentials nonfat dry milk is you can mix it with water as directed, chill it thoroughly, and have milk that tastes as good as fresh fat-free/skim/nonfat milk bought in a carton from the dairy case at your supermarket or grocery store. I like the fact that once you've opened the #10 can it has an airtight plastic lid to keep the milk fresh and dry. I do recommend using 23 grams of milk powder per 8 fluid ounces of reconstituted fluid milk, 92 grams per quart or 184 grams per half gallon rather than the 22 grams indicated on the label. Other brands call for 23 grams and that's what the FDA recommends. It is, however, a superior product. It should stay fresh in the unopened can for a number of years, too, so it won't go bad on you.

Works like a charm
So far, these GE 9-watt LED light bulbs, which replace 60-watt incandescent bulbs for light output, have been great. I had another brand of 60-watt replacement LED bulbs that have tended to burn out after just a few months. So now I'm sticking with the GE brand. I do shop around to get a good price, which I recommend doing. I also recommend making sure you get the "soft white" 2700K bulbs that are the color of sunlight and not the "cool" ones that are bluish white -- those, I find, are unpleasant.
