Best do it all lens!
4 of 4 found this helpful Besides the build quality, which is great, the optical image stabilization is phenomenal. I was able to shoot hand held at a quarter second and get a tack sharp image. The fact that the lens aperture goes from a rather slow 3.5 to 5.6, with that kind of stabilization, really is of no consequence, even in low light situations. The lens is edge to edge sharp at both extreme focal lengths. Simply amazing!
