Sure beats using a box cutter or utility knife
If you are doing any larger amount of vinyl tile/plank work, this will ease the job markedly. You won't be able to use it for longer cuts, but if your job is a "normal" layout, it will make the crosscuts a "piece of cake". Prices vary, so shop around - I've seen this listed for anywhere from $200 to almost $700. (I'm not sure what the seller at $700 was thinking...?)
I have about 1800 sq ft of heavy-duty vinyl plank, and this cutter saved me lots of time and effort.

Excellent product
I have six or seven of these, each "tethered" by Bluetooth to its own computer. They are all smooth and responsive, and the batteries last quite a while. I started with one, about two years ago, and gradually added to my menagerie one by one as the population increased. I recommend them highly, but suggest that you shop around, as prices vary significantly from vendor to vendor.
