Great product, glad I bought it
This 2 litre fermentation jar and the gear it comes with are wonderful. I use it to make sauerkraut. About 1.5kg of white cabbage and couple of onions (grated) fit in easily. The pot itself is sturdy enough and I expect it to last ages.
I have never before worked with the sort of weighing stones that come with it and it remains to be seen how longlasting they are and how the cleaning works after fermentation. The pounder works a treat (as it is wooden it needs to be thoroughly cleaned immediately after use).
The only thing I am not all to happy about is that the little handles are hollow on the inside which means little bits of veg get into them and if the pot is not full enough to cover the handles, they need to be cleaned out very carefully so the bits that got into them while filling and pounding don't get mouldy and spoil the lot.
The water-lock is great, it takes a lot of trouble out of fermenting, but the water-level in the grove has to be checked every day (sometimes the water just disappears over night, I have yet to find out why).
I'm glad I bought two jars and they will get good use as I intend to experiment with fermenting all sorts of stuff, not just making my beloved sauerkraut.

Weich und edel; einfach nur toll!
Lang Yarns Asia ist ein wunderbares Garn. Super weich, fühlt sich schon beim Stricken toll an und lässt sich sehr gut verstricken. Es sieht auch in echt so schön aus, wie auf dem Photo; Farbe stimmt genau, auch genau so leicht seidig glänzend.
Definitiv auf meiner "wieder kaufen" Liste; obwohl es recht teuer ist auf jeden Fall den Preis wert.
Ob es auch wirklich den Wollwaschgang in der Maschine verträgt, kann ich noch nicht sagen; genieße noch das Stricken.
