Wow. Just WOW.
I have been using a Microsoft Trackball Explorer for 14 years. My family purchased one new back in the day and I replaced it with a slightly used one a few years back, also from Ebay.
I do a lot of gaming on my computer combined with heavy editing work which means my mouse takes a beating. My last two trackballs had become noticeably less responsive in both games and general use.
I was wary with the price tag being as high as it is (but I also get it considering they don't make these anymore and the work that went into it) but it was worth it. I played some FPS games right after plugging it in and I could notice the response right away. I actually had to adjust to how smooth everything was and how nice and responsive the clicks of the buttons felt! I played the best I had in I don't know how long.
There are some diehard Microsoft Trackball Explorer fans out there who are still hoping and wishing and praying for a new model of this glorious piece of tech but until that magical day happens, this is the best thing possible.
