It's okay if you want to use it for basic stuffs
The quality of the fabric is similar to the HBT which I like, but the quality for the metal rings that can hook your suspender clips are horrible, it falls off easily when you're trying to hook it on, I used superglue to stick it back. I haven't test it on the field I do think it will do the basic job, especially if you are reenact 'nam but doesn't want to use the original. Some of the stitchings are out of the intended area，some of it metal taps have excessive strings I had to cut it off

It's nice but with some flaws
1 of 1 found this helpful As anyone who took interest in the Rhodesian military, this is a good collection either for souvenir or actual practical use. It can take 8 20 round stanag mags or 4 20 round .308 mags. Material quality of this rig is durable and the sewing is good (you just need to cut off the extra strings), now the biggest flaw of this rig are the press studs, I don't know if I got the defected one but here is goes, they are pretty loose, to the point that you can spin it, one of them almost come off, I fix it by using those sting super glues so I can get in to the thin gaps between the studs and the cloth. Other small flaws would be fitting, especially if you are a big guy, this rig fits me just right but I can tell if I'm 20 lbs bigger this wouldn't fit me that well. Overall this is a good rig for your 308 rifles, though just be cautious about some of the short comings.
