VR doesn't help with moving subjects
15 of 17 found this helpful Just to correct the other reviewer, there is no way that VR could help photograph a moving subject. The purpose of VR is to allow longer shutter speeds when handheld. Having a longer shutter speed will not stop action, you still need to be shooting faster than 1/500th with this lens in most cases.
