All things Liza through the magic of e-Bay
My wife has been in love with Liza Minnelli for years and she came across this DVD of her earlier performances on e-Bay. Naturally, I bought it for her. The CD was first class, arrived in a timely fashion and pretty well shadowed my experiences with e-Bay buying as first rate. It's hard to get the same service these days shopping brick and mortar stores. I'd be willing to spend a bit more if local shopping was that much better but it isn't. Buyers have more clout with e-bay's ratings of transactions and protections. Obviously, many people agree. Now, back to Liza. At the rate technology is advancing, we're lucky if we're able to play the DVD much longer; CD's have turned into flash drives, DVD's are morphing into SIM cards or whatever. Makes me dizzy, trying to stay current. However, I'm confident e-Bay will be around for awhile so I can get the next generation of Liza -- probably 3-D or holographic!

Oldie but Goodie
The Dell 600 is a reliable workhorse although it's getting pretty long in the tooth. What I liked were the size of the screen (14 inches) and that it had Windows XP as the operating system. My wife uses the laptop as just that: sitting in bed with the computer in her lap, playing a Hoyle's interactive bridge game that is still not available for Vista or Windows 7. No sharp corners on the laptop, screen just the right size so hinges aren't a problem (see that, Gateway, with your 15-inch screen and highly vulnerable hinges?).
The computer also came with a new charger and I imagine the seller does that for all his off-lease products.
Bottom line: don't turn your nose up at older operating systems. They're stable and have more products out there that are compatible. I do draw the line at DOS!

Just Like the Hospitals Use
I ordered a dozen after a stay in the hospital; a couple in the glove compartments of our cars and a few in the house. Great to have in emergencies -- nausea, motion sickness, etc. They are easy to use, leakproof, and easily disposable.
