Sounds Great Until It Goes Haywire
This subwoofer has an switch that allows you to select auto power off when it does not sense signal on coming from the factory car stereo. I purchased this subwoofer for that specific feature. One less wire to run is a great option. I ran all the wires, reassembled my car's interior. The subwoofer sounded great for a coule of trips around town. Then I returned home and turned off my car, the sub started humming/resonating extremely loud. If it would have been night time I would have woken my neighbors.
I called Rockford Fosgate tech support and was told the auto sensing feature does not work well and I can return the subwooder if needed. What the Hell?!? After I've purchased the subwoofer and wired everything, they just expect me to return the sub?!? I will be contacting Rockford Fosgate again to complain. This is ridicuolous!
