If you need a hole

Asus as good as expected
1 of 2 found this helpful This laptop arrived as expected and I was able to transfer apps and data from my prior computer with only a few hiccups. It is working well so far and is quite a bit faster than my old machine.
Display is terrific and much better than my auxiliary monitor (may have to upgrade it now)
Only a few comments on things that were not expected.
1. The red letters on the keyboard were unexpected and seeing that I am not as good of a touch typist as I should be, it does cause me to hunt around for some of the lesser used characters.
2. The connection for the auxiliary monitor required a new cable. No 15 pin port available. Easily solved with a HDMI to DVI adaptor cable which plugged in and worked right away.
3. The only negative is the "Page Down" key is right next to the power switch and this has caused me to power off unexpectedly a few times. Could have place the power key in somewhat better place.
4. One minor thing is there is no "Home" key
Going on the road next month and will see how that works.
