Great product at a bargain price
Lot of times the real product is quite different to what you see in the photos. With this one, you get what you see. I happened to buy a home alarm system from an Australian store. It worked great but user interface was complicated and hard to setup, understand to use it. Mind you am not IT illiterate. I didn't like the build quality of that and got fed up with the interface and eventually returned.
Then I bought Homescur and quite impressed with the quality and features. Best part is the ease of use. You don't need to be a genius to understand how it works and how to configure. It does get a bit complicated to understand few features but you will be able to figure it out eventually. I saved more than 60% and got a quality item. Its been 3 months now and no dramas. Only feature it doesn't have is the option to hook up wired phone. But who needs one these days, I installed long validity sim card and hidden it somewhere no one can see. Being wireless I am able to hide it where I want so that the intruders can't even think of tamper it. Built in batter is decent.
You get about 12 hours backup depending on the cellphone reception. This device doubles as a mobile phone. You can answer calls and use it as a phone. External siren with strobe light is very loud. I wish the light came in blue color rather than red. Red in Australia represents fire rather than burglary. This item can be controlled remotely using an app. You need to know that this app uses sms commands to interact with the control unit. Not internet. But it does what is expected to do like arm, disarm and many others. You get 5 PIR sensors, 5 Door/window sensors, External strobe light, 4 remotes, 2 RFID tags, 1 wireless smoke alarm all for under $300 which is an absolute bargain. You can add upto 5 numbers I think to which the control unit will send sms alert or call when there is an intrusion depending on how you configured it. When there is an intrusion, you can directly warn the intruder to back off via control unit as it doubles as a phone.
I took a chance to try it was 60% cheaper to what I bought earlier locally and am quite happy with my decision. The design is appealing and suits any modern home.

Highly recommend this
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this last year after trying few others on eBay and bunnings. We have baby rats from neighbour hood running in the eves. Very hard to catch them. They are small and almost weightless making it hard for the traps to work. But the trigger for this one is very sensitive making it suitable to catch big and small rats.
In other review someone mentioned it worked once and then hinges broke. Not in my case. I caught 6 baby rats so far. One last year and 5 last week. Works everytime. I tie up the bait to the trigger so when rat try and eat or take bait away the trap closes.
I would definitely recommend this. See the pics below taken moments before trap was closed. All 5 rats.

Genuine and original
Seems genuine and works like original. I couldn't find a difference other than slight variation on the information text under the battery cover.
For those thinking to buy this as a spare remote be mindful that only one remote can be paired at once with the TV. You can't use both together. Once you pair second remote then first one will stop working. You will then have to unpair all remotes to be able to pair the first one.
