Haunting, Lyrical, & One of My Favorite Books of Poetry
This is a wonderful book. I’m buying a second copy today in hardcover, because my first copy was paperback. If you enjoy Japanese poetry, especially Haiku and Tanka - then this book is a lovely introduction to two of Japan’s most celebrated female poets. It is so much more than a book of love poetry.

Great Book for New Collector
I love these books! They’re wonderful if you’re new to collecting.
While the internet provides a wealth of information, nothing replaces a picture in hand. This series of Collectors books usually have several dozen, if not hundreds of pictures per book.
They also introduce you to the different manufacturers of each type of ceramic, glass, silver, etc. and the individual maker’s many pattern lines.
Additionally, some of the books identify the various hallmarks (back stamps) used by the companies and the dates associated with them. This information is beyond helpful!
If you can find a good hardback copy for $5-7 - definitely worth the purchase. The price guides are irrelevant now - that’s where the internet comes in! However, pictures sans Pinterest? Priceless!
