A Lucky Find!!
During the 2000s I used this exact same machine to record TV programs and dub VHS tapes that I had made during the 1990s. During that time I neglected to finalize a number of the DVDs that I had made. Fortunately, I had taken a picture of my TV set with this JVC machine coupled to it. Using that picture, I managed to get another working machine from EBay.
I'm now digitizing all of my collection of DVDs, and was able to get the exact same type of machine that used originally. I have finalized a number of DVDs that were not finalized tenor more years ago. My ultimate objective is to digitize all of my stuff in the near future.

Riccardo Muti: The Complete Warner Symphonic Recordings
The body of work in this collection was generated by Maestro Muti during his time with the New Philharmonia Orchestra and the Philadelphia Orchestra, i.e., when he was a much younger man than he is now (He's now 83) Almost all of the CDs are of the standard 18th through 20th Century repertoire, and were originally released by EMI, a major British label. One major weakness is that the original album jacket did not include any liner notes which listeners could read to learn more about the pieces. Still, this is an incredible collection.
