Better than I expected, for the price
I wasn't expecting much, since the price is so low. Something that cheap probably picks up TV stations from a maximum of 30 miles, right? Wrong! First of all, assembly takes a moderate amount of work and about half an hour. But, the instructions are straightforward enough, and I got through it with no big problems. The wire from the amplifier to the antenna is fragile; just don't bend it too many times, or it might break. All the pieces are made of thin and fragile metal, but it seems sturdy enough once assembled. After I mounted it, I was surprised to be able to receive fairly strong signals from 50 miles away! All antenna mileage ranges are always greatly exaggerated, and this one is no exception. I live in a flat area with no major obstructions to my TV stations. My best guess is that 60 miles is a reasonable maximum range for this antenna. The biggest disappointment is the cable and connector from the rotation button to the antenna. They give you about 40 feet, which isn't enough to run from my theater room to the roof. The connector isn't a standard F connector, so it's difficult to add your own extension cable to the existing one. This means I have to go out to the garage to rotate the antenna, which makes the rotation part useless. But, for the price, an antenna that picks up signals 60 miles away is fantastic! I strongly recommend it for anyone on a tight budget who lives closer than 60 miles from their favorite TV station. You can easily spend 3 times the price and get something that's the same or marginally better.

Quite a bargain
I bought these because the price was very good. For this price, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I love the way the plastic insert grabs the cable when the thing is screwed together. It provides a very good strain relief, even though my cable is fairly thin. Over time, though, I think that the leaf spring that grounds the metal shell will probably weaken, and eventually the shell won't be grounded anymore. But, if that happens, it's many years down the road.

Good enough
I almost forgot how dim a 25 watt incandescent light bulb can be. Sometime in a few years I hope there will be an LED version that's actually bright, and doesn't heat up enough to melt my vacuum cleaner, like a 60 watt incandescent bulb would, if one exists. That being said, there is a 15 watt version, which would be insanely dim. So, if you are choosing between the two, then definitely buy the 25 watt one. In 2018, this bulb is the best there is. In the year 2020 or later, don't waste your money; buy an LED one that's actually bright and energy efficient.
