Incredible, but could be just a little better!
1 of 1 found this helpful Very happy with this mega sized kit, for its size and weight, this is a very well articulated and generally well detailed kit, however, there are a few niggles.
Slightly bent beam sabre effect parts,
the plastic quality isn't quite as good as the Bandai release (but for the price it's not bad)
A few errors in the actual moldings, but a fine knife and some modelling experience will sort these out.
Overall I'm happy with the kit for the price, and actually have a few daban models.
A bit of pre-planning, test fitting and care, will make this model fantastic

Great model kit, but needs refining!
With so many joint, pins and movable parts, this Gundam is a great kit to build and play with, although, due to its small size, some of the joints could do with being more robust, as it doesn't lend itself to being too hard wearing, and some joints can get easily loose!
All in all, a great model kit for beginners!

Wow, get this kit, sell a kidney if you have to
This is such a great model.
Having built the real life plane that was used as the basis for the box art, I was sceptical of how good the detail could be.
But barring one minor detail. This is exact, the designers have really put their effort into this, from the undercarriage bays, to the detailed cockpit and exhausts.
The brass photoetch parts really make parts of this model stand out, and the painted photoetch parts are amazing, detailed to the nth degree.
The model itself is revell which in the past has left me wanting. Not so with this kit, the plastic quality is pretty good, and the gates on the sprue aren't too heavy, which makes cleanup a doddle.
The instructions are great and we'll laid out, nothing is confusing, and the painting guide in the back of it is spot on.
The transfers are top notch too.
I suppose my only criticism of the whole kit, is that it's not a 1/24, and that there could have been a larger selection of decals, should you wish to have made a custom tail number or the such.
In general, this is fantastic and comes highly recommended
