Very sturdy - got what I paid for!
My euro plate no longer gets bent all up when going through an automatic car wash.

Some of the best money I've spent on this old truck.
Seems to be very well made and sturdy. One word of caution - when installing, stuff an old rag or sock or something down into the door below the studs where the mirror come through. Thankfully, they included extra nuts but I managed to drop one on each side down into the door. They fell all the way through to the bottom so that's where they'll stay unless they begin to rattle. :) Overall, though, I love the mirrors - so much nicer than the OEM regular mirrors. I wish mine were heated - but my truck doesn't have the rear defroster option so even though the capability is there, the circuitry is not. They operate smoothly on both sides. I have not yet used them to tow; just for regular driving but can definitely see more on each side of the truck. I expect to be very pleased with them when we hook up the boat for the first time. Solid and quiet, no wind noise to note.

Love the look - and the fact that they work!
Works great and exactly what I needed. Never cared for the 'ceramic' holders - they look too primitive. These are much nicer and more modern and the wicks appear to be very good quality. Just a quick tip - if you are using good, high quality lamp oil (and you should), you only need just a tiny portion of the wick exposed on the top of the holder. Otherwise you'll get smoke and soot. I think I have maybe 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch of wick exposed and it burns cleanly and beautifullly.
