Spark Arrestor Fact

The " Spark Arrestor " is advertised for use on Yamaha 87 - 99 Kodiak 350 &400 4-Wheelers. The spark arrestor will not fit a 1999 Yamaha 400 4 X 4 Kodiak YFM400FBWL( C ). The problem with the part is this: the outside diameter is approximately 1/4" less than the muffler discharge thereby leaving an air space open at the top side of the muffler. By fabricating a bushing ring the part can be adapted to fit but causes to much backpressure on the muffler causing dangerous overheating of the muffler and all around poor performance. I know as I tried it. Only a spark arrestor made for 1999 and only a 1999 will fit this model 4-wheerler. This particuler spark arrestor is now considered obsolete and is very difficult to locate. I hope I have clearly stated the problem as it is my desire to help other people not to make this same mistake that I did. THANK-YOU.

I would gladly recommend this book to other marble collectors .

This book is truly infomative as well as enjoyable.The book has excellent photography covering a wide sprectrum of the marble collecting world, and is well written.
