My motorbike boots which are designed to be stiff were cutting into my ankle so much that I couldn't walk around in them. I gave thd boot a good dose inside and out then forced the crease outwards with a tin can pushed down my boot. I left it half a day and it worked like magic. Boots now comfortable and no discolouration.

Does a good job

It won't beat a full fender when it gets really mucky, but it still does a surprisingly good job most of the time plus it is cheaper, lighter, easy to fit and looks good too.
