Want to add that "kick!" to your sound system!?.... This Rockville RBG18S 18" Subwoofer is the big brother to the Rockville RBG12S and brother does it rock! Don't let the low cost fool you, this really packs a "punch!". This speaker is constructed with 5/8” 7-layer birch plywood, then covered with black carpet with black metal corners. This speaker weights 84Lbs. but It has built-in carrying handles with heavy-duty locking wheel casters that make it a breeze to move it about. Hooking up to it is convenient with the balanced XLR + TRS (1/4in) input jacks and has balanced XLR thru/output jacks for parallel connections....hook up several and bring the walls down!.... The woofer is 18" and has a 120oz (7 1/2 lb) magnet with a 4" voice coil.....that'll get things thumping! The speaker will handle up to 2000 watts with a frequency response of 29Hz - 150Hz Features a DSP Digital Signal Processor with Boost or Extended Low Frequency Control Power-On and Signal Input LED Indicators, also has Clip Limiter Circuitry with an LED Indicator so you don't cook your speaker and turn it into an end table. :( There's a Passive heatsink with a heat sensitive variable speed auto fan for cooling everything inside when everything is heating up and rocking outside! Also has a built-in pole mount socket on the top center of the cabinet. The face is finished off with a custom metal grill to keep curious fingers out.... The cabinet measures 26.5" x 12.25" x 24.25" and weighs 84lbs. I'm so glad I purchased this Powered Subwoofer, I love the sound and impact it adds. I not only use it for listening to music, but I use it with my home theater system, it really brings to life and gives the full impact of explosions and crashes.....there was one movie where a Huey H1 helicopter came flying in, I had to look outside to see if one was actually landing on the roof! :D When I placed my order, this company was FANTASTIC and got it shipped out right away! It was at my door in 2 days! That's awesome!
