Drake makes a good transmitter.
Purchased as is for parts as described. It needed three tubes which I fortunately had. Also needed to clean up the switches and add a knob. after that I slowly powered it up using a variac starting at 50 VAC.
It works! Good price for a working radio.
I have the experience and equipment to work on boatanchor vacuum tube radios so I do not recommend buying an as is for parts radio unless you have a tube tester, tubes and other parts and meters.
On air reports I receive are very good!
I'd give it 4 stars but it does drift quite a bit until it is really warm but that is what I would expect for a 50 year old radio.

Works fine!
Great product. Use it on older amateur radio transmitters to check/set the output frequency. Only issue is that it is advertised as blue but was sent a red one. Might order an 8 digit one to use where greater accuracy is important.

Nice condition. Stable. For a 50 year old electronic device it exceeded my expectations.
