Saved the Can

It fits my Chilton gas can and allows it to use the EZ Pour spout. Otherwise I would have had to throw this nice, but spoutless, gas can in the trash. Note - the Chilton name is in VERY small print on the bottom of the can. Nowhere else that I can see. It looked like an oddball generic can until I found the name.

Unexpectedly useful pins

I needed 4-5 of these pins in a slightly shorter length that I could not find. These 15 were the best $ value. I cut a few down to the length I needed. I figured I would find a way to use the others someday. As it turns out, I am making a some wooden braces for my trailer which are to be fastened with 1/4" bolts. The extra pins are outstanding temporary connectors. They are much faster to insert and remove than bolts, which I must do several times before I can bolt everything up. The detent is enough to hold the parts loosely together, unlike a plain rod. I am pleasantly surprised to get so much use from them so soon. I may acquire a few different sizes of these for this purpose.

A lot of light where I need it

These little lights put out a bright focused spot that I can move around to use for my shop saw and drill press. They clip on pretty tight. It would be nice to have with a magnetic base, but I just glued on a couple of my own magnets to the clip. I don't know how long they last. I hope it is a long time.
