As advertised.
Arrived on time and as advertised. Clean, no "catches" everything fits and it's way, way under the regular retail price. It's not much to look at, but a magazine either works or it doesn't...this one does.

Who knew?
Who knew? Who knew how unique different flavors of 1911 are and how hard it would be to install the relatively chap part? Then there was the goofy looking special tool to put it on and finish the job. Then finding a gunsmith way out here and gone in the New Mexico desert. This has been an adventure--but the availability of this little, tiny, part...plus lucking into an older gunsmith that knew how to do it.
After he got done, I took it out and test fired it. Did fine and the amazing thing is that old surplus slab with iron sights and all that... still launched bullets accurately, made that satisfying "BOOM" I like so much, and punched some very impressive holes in the evil attacking paper targets.
I love it when stuff works. I love it even more when*I* also get back here early. I love it when stuff fits like it is supposed to. So it ain't "stock" but it fits, and it shoots insanely well. I wish any of my 9mm artillery shot as well as this. And now? Now I can aim again.
