Good purchase
Good: instructions; great pictures and verbiage; decals very elaborate; materials very high quality; fit-up of joints, unparalleled; panel lines and surface detail highly detailed; positive locators to aid assembly; extraordinary subassembly step diagrams; and more.
Not so much: 1/350 scale is unworkable - each piece-part is miniature-sized; a few steps of the instructions do not work; scale plus high detail=uncommon patience needed; some instructions unnecessarily skimpy (unless the actual vehicle is known); some steps could be re-ordered; ship’s design difficult to love; diagrams for decal positioning are too complex; those “cruise-line” decals need more visual contrast; decals ill-fitting when installed over panel lines; more disappointment with decals: the yellow pinstripes @ just 1/32” T, cannot, could not, be worked; and even after 36 hours, did not adhere well, etc.
I have to express that I feel as if this model, as finely designed as it is, was probably my most challenging/least rewarding.

Appropriate Title
I have an interest in the Convair Arrow as I worked for Convair for many years. Therefore, I did enjoy this book.
