You call that a warranty?
Very thin material. No way it will last 8 years. The warranty is a farce because of all the exclusions and the decreasing reimbursement as it ages. By the second year, the reimbursement will not cover the shipping. Grommets are not evenly spaced. They are grouped by two's, 5 inches apart, with 30 inches between each group of two. This creates high and low stress areas. Tearing of the tarp due to stress is not covered. Unless the tarp mysteriously dissolves due to defective materials, it's failure is not covered. After the first rain was trapped atop the tarp, I poked holes in the tarp to allow the rainwater to leak through in order to relieve the strain from one side of the pool to the other. This of course already voids the warranty, but should save the pool walls from being pulled inward under the weight of the water. I think it will last through the winter here in TN but I wouldn't bet on that in colder environs where the weight of ice will tear it.

Didn't work for me.
Did not work for me. Tried to get a blue ray player to connect to an older TV.
