Worked great. Will buy another
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a great product. Already been fishing twice at a local lake and caught loads of crappie, sunfish and blue gill and 2 bass. I would recommend this for backpackers and even travel.
THIS IS NOT A HEAVY DUTY FISHING ROD... But it will do the job for small to medium fish as is.
I plan to change out the reel because it is not as good as I would like it... but with that said the combination is still sufficient for catching fish. I plan to buy 2 more for the car and truck for some impromptu fishing.
In a nutshell this rod is a great little travel rod,that is compact and would be great for camping, hiking, bug out bags, compact fishing kits that are easy to store and travel with, and just a handy little rod that will catch fish as long as you don't hook a monster :P
