Perfect match. Not as flimsy as some reviews might have indicated
1 of 1 found this helpful Perfect match. Somewhat lighter than the original, but most of the saved weight is in the handle grip. The attachment points are only slightly thinner if at all, so I don't expect any longevity issues. It's also the correct colour, unlike the black ones that local sellers in Australia insist is the only available replacement! Definitely recommend this replacement handle!

It loses 1 star because my handset's callerid doesn't work in "inline" mode (and the ringer sounds funny).
And unfortunately in "parallel" mode the the big red button doesn't work after you answer a call. You need to press it BEFORE you answer, but then how do you know it's an unwanted call? Also manual programing doesn't work in parallel mode.
So for my use I run in parallel mode. If I get a nuisance call I hang up, unplug the phone cable from the parallel adaptor and plug it into the TEL port, manually program the nuisance number (or more often than not the whole 10000 number block around the number (ie don't enter last 3 or 4 digits of number being blocked - internet research will make it clear how big a block the call centre is using)) and then put the phone cable back in the parallel adaptor.
I suspect the unit, being powered by the phone line, uses too much power to be fully compatible with my phone. A model with a separate power supply might solve these issues. When I can just run in "inline" mode all the time and get handset caller id this will definitely be a 5 star product.
Even with the above minor issue I still think everyone should get one of these!

A really good product with amazing wireless range!
1 of 1 found this helpful I've purchased other wireless products in that past that boasted 30 metre + wireless range, but when put to the test are actually useless because the signal won't get through the vehicle body.
No such problems here! This battery monitor is an absolute gem! So simple to install and monitors the tow vehicle battery through the cigarette lighter power supply as an added bonus.
Why would you ever bother with a wired battery monitor? This unit picks up my caravan's battery from the street outside the storage facility. That's over 100 meters away!
Love this unit. Highly recommend it to all.
