Works for Wooden Camera Quick Cage
This is the right distance for my HDMI port with a Wooden Camera Quick Cage. The knob is in a good place and angles are nicely adjustable. I had to go with one screw to get the clamp to reach but it is still sturdy enough. It passes the "let the rig dangle from the hdmi cable" test without letting go. I may reverse the knob to the bottom if it turns out to be in the way too much for plugging in headphone or mic cables.
I like using the round part of the Quickcage rod that isn't drilled for anything else to hold this part.

perfect manual lens alternative to the FTZ, only way to shoot DX lens on full FX sensor
I bought this because I wanted a way to force my Nikon Z6 to "overshoot" a mounted DX lens. Nikon has (so far) protected the user from themself by not allowing a DX lens to shoot in fulll frame mode on a Z6. There are times when I want to be able to do that, and this device is the only way I know to make it happen. I was also thinking about the future, when I have a mix of F-mount and Z-mount lenses. This adapter, left on a F-mount lens, keeps from having to mount and dismount the FTZ back and forth. I have a bunch of manual F-mounts
After I received this product, the build quality and the ergonomics were surprisingly great, and a bonus is the well-designed box it comes in, which is good enough to throw in the bag and call it a case.

great for close unamplified reception
I got this for my roof to get rid of two pairs of rabbit ears. I live a mile from the tower for the main TV channels, so didn't need the reception of the 4V model. The other channels are about 110° from that line and further away. This just barely covers both by aiming at the middle of that arc, and reception is almost always great on all the channels I want, including some that are 20 and 40 miles away I have noticed in a severe windstorm I can get a few dropouts in certain channels, and I am still tweaking the angle so those may go away as well once I get it aimed optimally. I was able to easily mount this to an existing roof vent and didn't need the post that came with it, but instead lengthened the vent with 3' of aluminum tubing. Neighbor across the street can see our roof and I think this is less of an eyesore than most other designs. I couldn't be happier with getting rid of the small rabbit ears near the TVs that never worked very well and are always in the way and ugly.
