Making The Most Of Things
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this for Halloween to complete my Medieval Vampire costume and had mixed feelings about it. The crown, while being the perfect metallic gold colored matching the the gold detailing on dress, looked to be in way better condition online than what I received in the mail. It wasn't very symmetrical and certain parts of the braided Celtic design of the crown looked uneven and disproportionate. The faux jewel in the headpiece looked black in color but when I looked at it upclose and in person I found it to be an emerald green. Since there was absolutely no green in my costume I had to color it black with a Sharpie Marker. I ran into an issue witb the jewel repeatedly falling off so had to glue it back on 5 times before it finally stayed put. Also the headpiece didn't lie down flat against the forehead, rather the curve/bend around the centerpiece where the jewel was situated made it jut outward. Despite all the flaws it had I was still able to make the most with it, though next time I need to buy a headpiece I'll stay away from the ones being cheaply sold.
