Works great for about 3 months, then the battery dies

Works great for about 3 months, then the battery dies and wont take a charge. They said the battery would last about 5 years. It died in 3 months and the battery can not be replaced. I have 3 newer lights that are still working after one month. If they would last at least one year it would be worth it, but 3 months is not worth while. I would suggest pass it up !!
