This product froze up on me while I was trying it out and started smoking but I got it working again

I need to use it a little more to figure...
I need to use it a little more to figure out how good it works . It didn’t give my battery a full charge so I want to know if I have a bad battery or the charger isn’t working properly. The battery is only about six months old and the charger is new.
