Works as expected

If you can get it cheap, buy it
If you just need something to count steps and track your sleep for S Health (or just use the dedicated app), you want either this or the Samsung Charm as they are both cheap and work as advertised. However despite the fact they're cheaper than most I feel they are still overpriced. Plus this product has been discontinued, and the Charm is really ugly.
However, if you need to track sleep and count steps and don't care about what app you use to view the data, get the Mi Band S1 Pulse from Xiaomi. Much cheaper plus this and the charm and has an optical heart rate sensor which the Samsung trackers mentioned don't. I however got the Samsung as the S1 is not compatible with S Health.
EDIT: a couple more weeks with this and my opinion's changed a fair bit. This device is not water resistant to any degree - you can't even wash your hands unless you're incredibly careful. In the short amount of time I've owned it I've had to put it in a bag of rice overnight 4 times now. However - the good thing is that a bag of rice seems to fix it, but I never let the device fill with water either, just enough water for the LED's to go a bit weird and for the device to behave strangely. So if you are ever unfortunate enough to get a small amount of water in it via the USB port or the switch or the button - rice is your friend.
Overall - not recommended unless you're cheap.

Kinda cool
A cool little trinket with interesting background. 100% reproduction. the one sent to me was no-where near as well finished as the one in the picture. imagine a 4 year old trying to colour between the lines - the red paint spilled from the star and banner onto the sword in a couple of places
