Fantastic
These are a fantastic deal in the price range that they are being sold now used. Obviously the condition they are in from the seller will impact performance, but if they are in good shape then these are a great buy. Even in the 8x30 configuration these are nice and bright, and they are very portable. I have larger than average hands, but the smaller form factor of these binoculars do not bother me. They are very easy to hold steady and certainly feel as though they can take a beating. They cannot compete with the 8x42 alpha glass that is offered by brands like Swarovski, but that really isn't their competition in this price range anyways. These are great and I will be using them as my main binocular until I can afford one of the true top level binoculars. (As a side note, if these are still a bit too pricey for your liking, I would look at the Celestron Trailseeker ED or the Celestron Nature DX ED).
